weary autumn's shedding
cool, calculating frosty winds blowing
eager greens springing joyfully forth
excitedly chirping birds celebrating mirth
a baby's incoherent gurgling
mother's unfathomable splurging
someone's generous giving
friend's patient listening
the sparkle in my eyes
warmth of my smile
swing of my gait
spring in my step
melody to my ears
balm to a shattered soul
flame to smouldered coal
vitality to my doing
purpose for my being...
