Lord,
Give me a pretty daughter in law
With an oval face ...not square jaw
may she bring big, fat dowry
so son needn't work till weary
Charming and jovial let her be
too much TV let her not see
Not one who lived in hostel before
for then she'd make me work even more
A doctor/engineer..but not clerk
and well versed in all house work
She shouldn't grumble ever
must cook when I have fever
willing to entertain all my friends
if I help her/not, that depends
Calm and sweet, yet smart
my son and she must never part
